Release notes
AEL Beta 0.0.1 is the first public release of AEL, the Agent Engineering Language, and it is launching soon. This section will hold the notes of each release. Until the beta launches, it describes what Beta 0.0.1 will include.

There is no earlier public release. AEL is not available yet: there is nothing to download, install or sign up for until Beta 0.0.1 launches.
What the notes of a release will cover
Each release's notes will follow the same plan, area by area:
- Contents: the language and toolchain, agents, models and knowledge, services, packages, platforms, operations, the optional packages for robotics, science and quantum computing, and AEL Cloud.
- What changed: changes to the language or project format will come with explicit, reviewable migrations, and the notes will point you to them.
- Limits: what the release deliberately limits, and what will be settled later.
- How releases are made: beta releases will be signed and reproducible, with a software bill of materials.
- Where to read more: the full documentation will cover every part of the beta, and each area of the notes will link to its guide.
Following releases
Follow the AEL updates feed in any feed reader: it will announce the launch date, and then the launch.
